physical disabilities can drive vehicles independently?
Gone are the days of depending on others for transportation. In
many cases, your own vehicle can be modified for you to drive.
If you require wheelchair access into your vehicle, mini or full
sized vans could be adapted for you. Mobility scooters and
motorized wheelchairs that are too heavy to pick up, can easily
Be carried by an automatic lift mounted in your vehicle. To assist you with
your purchase, special 10 year financing, and a $1,000.00 mobility rebate is available to all
disabled customers purchasing, or modifying a new vehicle. To apply for a grant, contact your
local Regional Disability Center. Disabled veterans can contact their local V.A. office to apply for
financial aid. To begin your search for other financial assistance, contact your local hospital for
names of organizations willing to help.
